I currently have "Sound on keypress" on and I was wondering if there was any way to change the "typewriter" sound to a "bubble pop" sound or something of that sort?
Also, my phone is not rooted

I don't think you would be able to change that sound with out being rooted and altering your system file. It is possible if you were rooted.

Is it difficult to root a phone?
Also, how would you go about approaching this if it was rooted?
Thanks in advance!

Its pretty simple to root your phone. You have to follow the directions word for word. I read over the directions a few times before I started the rooting so I made sure I understood what I was doing. There are plenty of threads on here that teach you how to root your phone. Do a little research and learn a bit about what rooting is before you decide to do it.

Rooting has gotten to be so easy these days. Its a painless and simple process of running a script on your phone. As for actually changing the tone after your are rooted could be simple or it could not be. Never thought about it but you will basically need to find the file within the system files. I'm sure the keyboard is an apk file, so find that and just replace the file that contains the sound with the one you want.
