Charging blocked by moisture, help needed.

I just contacted LG Support and they told me it will take 2 weeks from the time I send in my phone and when I will get it back. That's bad since I can't be without a phone for 2 weeks and I don't have a backup phone.

This USB Port moisture problem seems to be very common with the LG phones, and it now makes me reconsider upgrading to the V35 or any other LG phone in the future.

I ended up sending my G6 into the LG repair facility in Forth Worth, TX to fix this issue. I paid the $33 expedite fee so they would have my phone repaired and returned to me in 1 week instead of 2 weeks. They ended up replacing the USB port on my G6 and I did get it back 7 days after sending to them.

They had installed Android 7.0 on it, so I needed to do a OTA update to get AT&T's Android 8.0 Oreo installed. After spending a day to reinstall all my apps, everything seems to be working ok (fingers crossed!).
