Charity Miles not starting with Pixel 2

I use Charity Miles all the time. As soon as I switched to my Pixel 2, the tracking won't even start. I've tried indoor walk, outdoor walk, outdoor run. All no go. I've tried re-installing, and checking app permissions for gps/location. Other apps that use location are working fine. Just a bug in the app?

Most likely the developer needs to update app to Oreo

Yeah the app probably needs to be updated for Oreo. I'd send them a bug report.

Yeah, what phone did you come from? My flight tracker app isn't updated either so keep crashing. One way to know is go to the play store and see what other reviews say. Filter it to show only reviews from people with the same phone. You will usually see other people having the same problem as you meaning app needs to be updated.
