I used it when I was on rh beta and didn't find them useful yet bc only messages and FB messenger supported it. Once other messaging apps get supported then I'll definitely give it another shot so I could receive all my messages in one place.
Yeah for sure same here. Then I don't mind having as many messaging apps as I do now bc they will all come in to one hub.Now with the new Bubbles API that should start to happen. Looking forward to Whatsapp the most.
Yeah pretty much. But this will keep all your messages in one place regardless of what app once it supports it. Right now it's meh, but once the other messaging apps support it I can see it perhaps being useful. You also can customize it to only do chat bubbles for contacts you select opposed to everyone. Might be useful for letting bubbles come in only for your close friends and family. We will see might give it snoth I shot but when I tried it a few months ago via android 11 beta bc it only supported messages I wasn't a fan.I'm not sure I'm a fan of the chat bubbles. It seems like the same Facebook messenger?
I'm not sure. I set it up for All Conversations Can Bubblestill waiting for it to work. maybe I should just try "priority" for the convos I want to have bubbles for? right now I have default with option for bubbles
I just checked my wife's Pixel 3aXL, which updated to Android 11 late last night. The Bubbles option is not available in the Messages app on her phone. So this would indicate that there is an app update that needs to come from the Play Store and this new feature is not just an automatic part of 11.
For any of you who aren't getting the bubbles, have you turned off the Display Over Other Apps permission for any apps? On my phone, I don't see Messages listed there, but the bubbles might be covered by Device Personalization Services. Just a shot in the dark ...
