[Chatter] "Where everybody knows your name ..."

Sup gimpy. That blows. What's recovery time like?

In pa. How I missed fios.

Not sure, but they say likely no driving for 6 weeks, which is super convenient living in the 'burbs. Have been virtually apt hunting in NYC so this dampens that...

D- my workout advice is this: squats. They suck but you will see only results. And also burpies - a squat/push-up mash. You'll thank me later. (says the gimp...)

I would have no problem wearing that out in public. Might need to order it.

Just a PintheA, considering I'm supposed to be apt hunting to move out of my ex's place. Oy.

That sucks. Hard. If I was in that area I'd gladly cart you around to find a place.

I'd punch a toddler for cable, let alone fios. DSL is annoying.

That's my lack of bone strength. You will find truth in my statements.

You will.

Re: [Chatter] I <3 JB

Let me Google it lol

Have to get my car inspected this morning. Hate this process.

Car inspection? What's that?

And squats (more accurately the sled) leaned me out faster than anything pretty much. Build up the largest muscles in your body, and burn more calories during normal daily activities. D, you looking to lean out or bulk up? Or both?

Build. Need a diagram on how to do this stuff. My gym has limited equipment lol

squats are killer. squat with somewhere between 80 and 100 lbs (including the bar itself) to start - 4 sets of ten - make sure you have somebody spot and show ya how to do them correctly (dont lean forward) - then you won't be able to walk properly for 2 days, but you'll build muscle like crazy from thighs to core to back.

also, dead lifts are very good to supplement your other weight lifting - makes your lower back alot stronger, and makes your grip stronger.

btw, D, can you point me to where the gun show is at???

hahaha..

7 - sorry to hear about that dude. One of the tenn. titan's wideouts broke his fib or tib last night. Looked like the bone was sticking out the skin ... yikes

Anyway - im back at school to do some work. on a fn friday. dam:mad:

Re: [Chatter] I <3 JB

I could post a novel at some point, but in here might not be the best idea. I'll try to shoot you a pm later. Need my exercise log book (at home).

Not having much equipment is fine. Free weights can accomplish most anything. When I was in better shape (I've fallen off a bit and need to get back at it), I did my lifting using free wieghts, sled (easier to use without a spotter) and cable crossover. If you have access to any of that you'll be golden.

Best simple advice for now: rotate muscle groups. You need recovery periods. My rotation was typically Day 1-chest/front shoulders, Day 2-legs, Day 3-back/rear shoulders, Day 4-arms. Maybe threw a rest day in there between day 2-3 and a rest day between beginning the cycle again.

Here's a rough idea where that routine got me, and what I desperately need to get back to... :'(

when i was going 5-6 days a week i did a similar thing. just rotating on a 4 days schedule upper, lower, upper, cardio - repeat.
i would do something like 1. chest (press, cables, free weights), arms (free weights mostly). 2. legs (squats, lunges, thigh machine, leg press). 3. shoulders, lower back, core. 4. as much cardio as possible.

Let me Google it lol

I had to do the car inspection thing earlier this month.I'm actually legal in this state now having ran an out of state tag for a few years while living in NC.
In Michigan there is no inspection or property tax on vehicles, kinda miss that.
I still have 2 drivers license to both are valid ha

Re: [Chatter] I <3 JB

Lol, I went mental with working out. Had to be at work by 6 AM. Woke up at 3:45 to head to the gym for cardio (usually stationary bike since I can't run - mental thing). Leave the gym by 5 to get to work. Head back to the gym after work to lift. Then home, eat dinner and in bed before 9. It was fairly miserable lol.

Re: [Chatter] I <3 JB

Damn. Fair enough, shoot me my PM, you just unknowingly won my personal trainer contenst.

Re: [Chatter] I <3 JB

Yeah my fiancee's beater (to put it lightly) is a "Michigan" car and if we're ever forced to change (which we probably should have done months ago) i'll just drive it off a cliff. Would never pass inspection anywhere lol

Fair enough. It'll take me a bit to write up my schedule with explanations. But I will get it to you. Also, I can only tell you what worked for me. It should make a good launch point for you, but you'll need to tweak everything to how your body responds.

No worries, I will do anything to become a tank. Anything.

Thanks so much, I do appreciate it! (Jesting aside...or is it?)
