Nothing like a motley ROM flashing on a Sunday morning. :)

By the way, I suggest flashing the 3-17 Gapps rather than the 4-22 version. That way Play Store restore works and your other Google account settings will restore as well.

Ironically, I just saw your post about that after it was said and done lol. I was in the midst of TiBu restore when I posted this ;).

I wonder why the GAPPS no longer feature restore, restore of WiFi/networks, etc.

It probably wasn't intentional. According to the RW thread, a change to the filename of one of the Google apps causes restore to break.

Until they fix it, the workaround is to flash the 3-17 Gapps and update the apps in the Play Store after you set everything up.

Good call, Thats going to save me a lot of time since i use market restore to get things going. Here is the link that has the 3-17 Gapps for anyone that needs them.

Build 33 - Releases - Releases - News

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the downloads. :)

Looks awesome, the only problem i see is my big fingers/thumb would never hit only one button. I could see that problem driving me nuts in a matter of minutes! Love the idea though, if the icons were a bit bigger i would definitely consider this when CM9 is finished.

Agree...I fat finger buttons right now, could not imagine how bad it would be if i ran that set up.

Looks sweet though....still blown away by the dev community around this phone, amazing

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus CRACKFLASHERS | SECRET LAIR ;-)

yeah the dev support is insane.

i used the tablet mod that was around about a month ago - lasted only a few hours bc of the button sizes - wayyy to small to do anything wihtout looking really carefully for the tiny icons.

this one is supposed to be a hybrid (at least when it's done). not sure if that means there might be some way to change the size of things ...

Looks like it would be great on a Galaxy Note! Sounds like the text may be a tad small for me to use everyday.

On a related note, just loaded up the latest CM9 nightly in a Boot Manager slot. It's been a while since I've tried CM9 and it looks like it could be a daily driver at this point. Still a few things that are unfinished (like Theme Manager) but all the parts I care about are there and seem to be working fine.

How far along is trebuchet? Cid in the boot anim yet?

Re: [Chatter] Galaxy Nexus CRACKFLASHERS | SECRET LAIR ;-)

Didn't spend too much time using Trebuchet as I loaded up Nova Prime after flashing. Can confirm that Cid has arrived and is featured in a snazzy new boot animation.

Go for it. I last tried CM9 about a month or two ago and it was much more of a work in progress. It still is, but the missing features I've found so far are not ones I use (theme chooser and fancy lockscreen options).

It's quick and smooth. It reminds me of why I stayed with CM7 on my ThunderBolt after trying practically every ROM for that device.
