CM7 Nightly Builds

It's when you go to hang up a phone call (or just pull your head away from the phone - like if you're trying to punch in your account number on a automated call or something) - you have to push the "wake-up button" or a volume rocker or something to get the screen to "wake" from the black abyss.

JT's v5 kernel on Rom Manager seems to fix it, at least the problem disappeared when I installed it! Running nightly 35.

Same here. Installed it little bit ago and after first phone call ended screen popped right up.

How is volume on the other end? Can callers hear you on JTs kernel?

call volume is good, no complaints and I've asked (even though I've never had the issue that has been reported to me).

Call volume issues are still the same on JT5. I switched back to Glitch ML. I love this kernel!

I am new to the whole CM7 thing but I hope this means an RC is coming out soon!

Yeah I saw that. There were a ton for 35 as well which could also be why they are not coming out with anything yet. I think we get spoiled at times with the fast paced moves in technology. But then again I am an addict!

There haven't been any updates recently, because the servers at kernel.org were hacked. The Linux Foundation took down the servers and several others. CM uses these servers to compile the nightlies, so they are on hold until they are back up.

My buddy sent me a video he probably took with his phone (a .3gp file format) to my gmail, and I'm not able to view it - it's happened before with some of my videos. I'm wondering what's up - anyone else noticed this? When it tries to open it, it asks what I want to open it with and I have either a movies or vidtrim - neither will do it. I'm on CM7 - the original - no nightlies, with glitch v12. Thoughts?

Go to gmail mobile website and download the video as an attachment from there, then try to play it.

It's a problem with the gmail app I believe. You have to do the same thing for zip and rars.

Latest nightly #54 running fine. DO NOT install a custom kernel with it, none compatible at this time. The kernel that comes with it can be overclocked and undervolted, and looks like the BLN has been fixed as well.
