Ok...

Now that I have CM7 up and running on a 8 gig SD card, I want to move some video, pictures, books and music to the nook....

While booted in CM7, while I'm plugged into the computer, it does mount any of the drives...

My computer shows them, (removable drive f, g, h) but wont let me select them or open them.

Drive F and H say to "Insert a disk into removable drive: "

Drive G asks to be formated....

So, help I need....

CM7 does me know good if I can't move files to it.

You should be able to use ADBWireless or Dropbox and then move the files around with Root Explorer.

So, basically I need to learn ADB.....

Cause dropboxing 700meg files (movies) aint gonna happen.....

I mean it's clear that I have 5.86GB Free right now....

Is there no other solution?

Yeah, Dropbox ain't very fast. You could remove the SD card from the Nook, insert into the computer and copy the files. When I do that, both the boot and "CM7 sdcard" partitions are mounted on my Mac. If you need to put a file elsewhere, use Root Explorer to move it.

Well....

I got an answer that solved it....

When you plug in your NC, you have to enable usb mode on the NC. Check the status bar for a usb icon.

Once I did that... it was golden

There is also a program (and I can't remember the name for the life of me) that allows you to mount whatever partition you want. I use it to mount my 4th partition and drop movies over onto my sd card. the prog is over at xda and is included in the nookie froyo to sd version (if that helps) but it works great too.
