CM7 on the Bionic

I believe it is using the stock kernel, bypassing the locked bootloader by using what is called 2nd-init.

then would it still improve the performance of the device compared to stock Motoblur?

and what other benefits would Stock-Kernal- CM7 would offer?

It would still improve performance because it wouldn't have Blur apps or any of the Verizon bloatware running. CM7 has a lot of neat features such as themes, custom lockscreens, notification bar toggles, and many other things.

Oh. just couple more question.. Can i still use "adjustable size widgets" that Motoblur has?

Also, i really like the how stock "Tasks" list manager looks. Will i able to keep some of my stock app on CM7?

If you use any other launcher such as GoLauncher EX, LauncherPro, or ADW EX, they all have the ability to resize widgets. Not sure about the Tasks app.

CM7 won't have ANY of the stock apps. You can find the actual app apk in /system/app and copy it to your sdcard, and then when you get cm7 installed, try putting that apk back in /system/app and setting the permissions back. It might run...it might not.
