Verizon has released the first firmware update for the Galaxy S24 series. Has anybody installed it? Looking to see if the vivid display issue has been addressed with this update

It sounds like Samsung might have done that on purpose, to get higher nits and a brighter screen at the expense of some color saturation.

The good thing is that can be changed with an update if they choose to

A follow up. It's been a couple of weeks now with my S24U. I did some adjustments, best was the increase in contrast. The screen colors are whiter than my S22U, but I have learned to live with it. I will apply any future adjustments when Samsung brings them out. But, overall the upgrade from the 22 to 24 is worth it, in my view.
