Commando root.

Friend just picked this up and was wondering if it can be rooted yet?

Download the Commando C771 USB drivers and use SuperOneClick to root. Pretty painless process. After stripping off all the crapware with titanium backup, my commando is smooth as butter with about twice the stock battery life. I wish there were custom roms available though. :'(
