After thinking about it for quiet some time, I have decided to stay with getting the Nexus One and pass on keeping my Droid Eris. What kept bugging me was if you put the Eris and the Droid side by side there really is no difference other then physical look. .......blah, blah,blah..... So long ferniesp enjoy your Droid and your golf game.
One reason to choose the Nexus over a Droid is that Verizon just now, pushing the 2.1 update to the Droid, what took so long?
This actually may be our answer! If Verizon has approved 2.1 on it's on device, maybe, just maybe it will give it's blessing to the Nexus 2.1.
I am sorry for getting anyones hopes up the the Nexus One might come out today.....I am going to shelve that idea now until next Tuesday. I really was hopingt though.......

Not really a rumor but I've been wondering this for awhile. Will GPS and voice work at the same time?
I just imagine myself using the GPS feature and having a call come in and I lose the GPS right when I need it.
It should, doesn't Google Nav cache the route in case you wander outside of data coverage?
