There was also a countdown on Verizon's website. They took that down though. Wonder why...

I never saw the countdown...just heard about it. Was this for their BOGO deal or the launch of the new "My Verizon?"

Reasons why I believe the N1 may be launched tomorrow.

The countdown on the Verizon website was for "MyVerizon". They really do know how to hype nothing at Verizon. The BOGO offer was on the DROID and DROID Eris and that ends today.

I am going to guess the Nexus One comes out tomorrow and it all goes back to the tipster on SoftSailor and some other sites that say April.

1. BOGO ends today
2. Tomorrow is the 1st day of April
3. Next day shipping would allow customers to get their phones on Friday.
4. Tipster on SoftSailor said by the end of this week.
5. IPad launches on Saturday
6. DROID finally got upgraded to 2.1
7. HTC Desire, Legend Slated For April 1 Release On Amazon UK.
8. Surprise it is not an April Fools Joke.


I was trying to come up with ten reasons but going to have to stop with 8 good reasons.

So the surprise could be releasing the phone on "April Fools Day", but I am going with the phone being released with FLASH 10.1 already on it.

The countdown was for the BOGO deal. It perfectly coincided with midnight tonight, eastern time, and was seen on the BOGO page.

If you're holding out for the iPhone on VZW, you'll be waiting longer than 3 months. Mass production isn't slated to start until September, setting the launch up for the all too profitable holiday season. In 3 months time, you will see a new iPhone, but it will be AT&T's new rendition.

Personally I think the Incredible will be the device to have. I love the Android OS...although the rumored iPhone 4.0 OS running on the VZW LTE network will support multi tasking between 3rd party applications.

Just some food for thought.

Na - im willing to ditch verizon. at&t network is fine by me and i dont travel much so it doesnt bother me....and im pretty much connected to wifi all day...might take my $600 that i had aside for n1 and cop an ipad

You might need to consider having me admitted to a looney bin. I think this waiting has finally taken it's toll.

I just printed out a high res image of the Nexus One, (in the right dimensions, and on glossy paper no less.) Then I cut it out and stuck that sucker in one of my cases.

It looks great and I can pretend.

At any rate, it's a good way to see how the thing will look in your hands.

Just read that HTC incredible is OnOrder in Verizon invetory...Might just jump ship and hop on the Incredible train...check out engadget.com for the proof

It looks like it could be soon. I would imagine if On Order truly means that its in stock just not ready for shipment then it would be at least another week or so before the Incredible comes out.

I may be on this train too.

I am concerned as well. There is so little out about the Incredible and it all of a sudden is shipping to Verizon..........Just confirm someone that they are different phones and that the N1 is still coming to Verizon

Zero, I would think, since the Incredible will have Sense UI, has a slower clock speed, and, most notably, is not being sold by Google and is being sold by Verizon Wireless.
