Maybe they are going to release them both at the same time......Maybe that is the surprise. Well you can order the N1 or you can have this here now the Incredible. I still want the N1 and am hopeful for tomorrow.

none of the phones when they were released were available early morning - remember they are all probably west coast companies so won't be up and do any announcing/releases until probably noonish EST

patience people...sheesh - ya waited this long you can wait a few more days (or maybe just a few more hours)

Plus it's not Verizon that's marketing it - so it probably won't be advertised on their site

Uh, that's week old news my friend. VZW released Skype to 7 of it's 9 phones last week Thursday.

Then VZW/Google should get off their lazy butts and release the N1 because it will definitely be as big, or bigger, news that the iPad because this is THE phone that the entire VZW user base has been waiting for. VZW/Google will make boat loads of money and I will sincerely bet that the N1 would be sold out in a day or two when it does because there's that many people that want it.

But no.. no release today, no release tomorrow... Summer it is! LOL

As anyone that checks this website regularly, I know Skype was announced last week, but maybe i am mistaken but thought TODAY was the official roll-out onto all compatible VZ smartphones, and why not introduce 2 more phones (Nexus 1, Incredible) that show-off this new Skype App, since they will be running the newest 2.1 that was just pushed over their network....... but maybe this is all wishful thinking

Yes, I check all the VZW/Android sites too and Skype officially was announced last week, on March 25, 2010 by Skype themselves and VZW. I can't post the links because I don't have a post count of 10 (?), but you can find it yourself.

I agree just any sort of announcement would be a complete surprise for me too. Now the incredible is apparently ordered. I feel like these phones are going to come out around the same time so we should be hearing some sort of news very soon.

If you try to wait till nothing big is being release or there isn't a sale or anything then VZW/Google will be waiting forever to release this phone. Technology changes so much that they are constantly releasing new things. So they need to release this as soon as possible because from what I keep reading there are so many people looking for this and the incredible. Once it is released it will steal all the headlines

Today's big news from Verizon isn't Nexus One. They are going to charge $0 for mobile hotspot for Pre Plus. Damn, this is awsome. And I love WebOS, but not so much on the phone itself though.
