Confirmed: Verizon Nexus One Cancelled

Hopefully both will be released tomorrow. That way I can go to the VZW store, check out the Incredible, and confirm that I still want the N1.

Is it just me or are these phones not that similar. Based on the rumored specs of the Incredible I don't think I could base a purchase of an N1 after handling the Incredible.

Besides Sense UI, a down-clocked processor, and a funky backside the similarities are trivial.

Just my opinion.

I had $500 burning a hole in my pocket and got tired of waiting, bought an iPad to hold me over. I figure I'll sell it and my TMO N1 when the Verizon version comes out and still have a few $$ in my pocket.

and the iPad? not so great. Just a distraction for a few weeks.

If anything get's released tomorrow, it'll be the N1 - there are no reports of Incredibles being shipped to VZW stores just yet.

Tomorrow is Tuesday, both the T-mobile and ATT versions of the N1 were released on Tuesdays. Hence the increased hope/speculation it might happen tomorrow.

The Incredible is probably right around the corner, but I suspect the Nexus One will drop first. Since Verizon will do little to nothing in promoting the N1 I highly doubt any information can be obtained by VZWOffers.

I too hope it will be released today, but my anticipation for this phone is waning. I mean its been out for 4 months now, we all know there will be a better Android phone in the fall, and the new iPhone is going to be announced in just 2 months. I'm not saying I wont pick up an N1, but my excitement over the phone isnt what it was when it was first announced, heck its not the same it was even a month ago.
