I may have my terminology all mixed up, but on my old EVO, I could hold down the search button and I think it was google voice which was completing my request (you know, the one with the blond google kid brunching).

I think there may have been an app called google mobile (not sure).

In any event, on my S3, when I double press my home button, I get a choice of s-voice, or vlingo.

Is there a separate app or service I can set to try out google instead of vlingo or s-voice?

Thanks for helping me understand this better,

Mike

Are you referring to Google search cause Google voice is a sms messaging app?

I think it's called Google voice search?

Check the market for voice search, I think that maybe the one your referring to. It was pre-installed on the old Evo must not be on the S3?

Yup. Voice Actions is a function of the Voice Search app from Google.
