Constant ads and pop ups

Hello all, I got my Samsung s10 last week (this is my first android phone)

In the last few days I have had constant pop ups and ads come up on my screen, this could be when I'm loading apps like Facebook or what's app or just on the internet browser. They take up the whole screen and require me to click on a cross to close them.

I am guessing I have either downloaded an app I shouldn't have, or gone on a website that my phone didn't like.

I have downloaded an ad blocker and something called malware bytes, and that says I have no issues.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix it because its really irritating me.

You will need to delete the 3rd party item that is causing the ads. You can start deleting a few at a time to see if it stops them.

Often it is some trivial app like a flashlight, file manager, etc. that generates these ads.

I once had same problem on Huawei phone and the culprit after all was a icon pack I downloaded from store. Deleted it and problem was gone. All tho when you download stuff from store you really can’t know if the app brings new unwanted ads.
