Contract Question

My question is this, let's say I port my number over to Sprint just after upgrading with Verizon (literally 1 week ago). I would obviously be responsible for the full ETF but would any addition penalty be assessed? I am wondering if they could tack on more money for the previous contract? I'm still under 14 days so I do have the option to simply return the phone. Curious if anyone has been in this situation before?

Typically they prorate usage. So if you have 10 days of service, expect to pay approximately 1/3 of your quoted monthly service rate.

I get that, but what I'm getting at is, would the previous contracts ETF be enforced or since there is a new contract is the old one null and void?

once you upgrade, the etf resets. The max etf you pay on Verizon is $350 per line

Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II
