Are they though? I would think with having to go to the cage for the different phone, deactivate and activate etc., the guy from the kiosk would be processing it.

Refund as in who is giving you back the money on the 1st phone you bought yes Costco themselves does that as you buy the phone from the register and not the kiosk. Now the swap and everything else, yes they do that at the kiosk.

Exactly, so Costco will give you $179 bucks back and the kiosk will say "that'll be $700 for the Bionic." Oh well.

But seriously, what is the surprise? If both the kiosk that I went to and the Costco member services desk tell me the same thing.....what exactly will be the surprise? If you know something I wasn't told please tell me what it is.

So, what happened with this. Anyone have luck returning a phone for the Bionic after the 14 days? Ironically, the guy told me I had 14 days to exchange it for the same device...and 90 to exchange it for a different device...didn't make sense at the time, but after reading this thread I think he had it mixed up.
