Could someone help me flash the latest radio?

I've never flashed just a single item before. Could someone be kind enough to give me some step by step instructions on how to do just the radio and a link as to where I can download it? I'm unlocked, rooted and running the straight up 4.0.2 with no ROMs or other alterations.

Also, will this wipe anything...data or apps?

Thanks for the help.

Followup questions:

Once backed up, to flash this radio, do I skip to his step number 10 (skipping over the wiping this, and wiping that) then follow through step 15?

Also, as to the 403radios_btldr.zip file, before I start step number 10, do I just use file explorer on my PC to copy this file (it's on my PC now) to the root of my phones directory?

I'm not sure what directions are you following when you refer to the steps, but flashing the radio will be very similar (just easier) to flashing a rom. You can download Rom Manager to automate this process for you. Just put the zip file somewhere on your phone. Then within Rom Manager, click "Install ROM from zip." When it prompts for what to delete, you don't have to select user data.

As always, run a titanium backup and then a backup from clockwork as well prior to doing this just in case something extremely odd happens.

The steps I'm referring to come from this post # 2 in this thread:

Thanks for all the help everyone. It worked like a charm and like everything else that you figure out how to do (with your help), now seems ridiculously easy.

Yup, use your computer to copy the zip file to the root of your phones internal storage. You can skip the wiping and go to step 10.

No problem. This is why flashing is so addictive. Once you do it once, it's easy and allows so many more options than what unrooted users have.

Let me know if your connection improves, contemplating on doing it or not.

Many say this radio update does not improve signal, but helps you stay connected when switching towers.

I figured as much. These radios were obviously in the works prior to the Nexus signal issues gaining prevalence.
