Crackling sound with or without headphones

Hey guys recently when playing music on my note 3 I noticed there's some cracking(sometimes followed by some static) , so I figured my headphones went bad, I bought some new ones, same thing. So I figured that maybe it was the port messing up, but the same thing will happen when playing through the speaker.... Can anyone suggest something? Please and thanks

Rooted or stock? Crackling is usually associated with under volting.

What headset did you have and purchase? I had a BlueAnt Q3 and had static. Had no issues with it before buying the Note 3. I bought a new Q3 and same thing. This was after updating software on the Q3 per customer service. Changed to a Jawbone Era and no static at all!
