stalemate? i believe he just got clockworkmod working. next step is cyanogenmod. it's being worked on but support is limited and things take time.

You can help me with AOSP. Once we have AOSP, getting CyanogenMod should be a heck of a lot easier.

Working on fixing a few things I forgor in CWM (ext partition on sd card) and then gonna try a CM kernel, after that comes CM itself.

Ok, still having an issue with sdext partition in CWM. What looks like the correct block device according to adb doesn't work when you try to format it. I sent drellisdee a PM to see what he used for the block device for it.

Ok, I released CWM 0.5
SD:ext wiping/mounting isn't working but if you do a USB MS toggle it will mount (at least in linux). Not sure how I pulled that one off though....

Let me clear that last post up. I was meaning i could mount the sdcard and see it in windows while in recovery. I can't see the ext partition that will only happens in linux. That's normal to be able to see the partition in linux tho,that's one thing i love about linux instead of windows.

Necro Bump because while I have no coding skills my hearts in the right place. Cyanogen made my Hero look sleek,sexy, and fast. I can only imagine it would make my Optimus into a small screened Evo. I gotta stop typing before I hump my screen. Is it hot in here or is it just me?

Doesn't always help. I did that at one point with a three hard drive setup; they all failed at about the same time (like within a 24 hour period), and one was less than a year old. The data was non-recoverable on them.

He is doing it for free, so I'd cut him some slack Since I assume he also has a job of some sort to support his Android development, and honestly after working on something all day you really just want to relax.

He could just not work on it at all Though if it's something easy to do that he's just being too lazy about doing, by all means, go ahead and finish up the work yourself. I'm eager to see how it turns out.
