In terms of hours ...how many hours are you guys getting on a single charge using cm6. I'm currently on 9/12/10 and I'm getting about 8 to maybe 10 hours whereas on a sense Rom I'd easily get 12 to 14.

I was running CM6 nightlys up until recently with the same 8-10 hour charges as you're reporting. I have had to unroot and return to stock to exchange the phone (my wifi is wonky), and am now getting much better battery life.
Not sure what may be responsible for the change. Am hoping that I can get the same phenomenal results as others seem to be getting with CM6 once I get my new Evo.

Can someone plz tell me how I can put cyanogen on my Evo and where to get the required files ( rom, kernal, ect... ). I have already rooted it and have amon ra on it. I have been searching for weeks for the right files and some good instructions but cant seen to find it for some reason. Thx in advance.

My personal Cooking has been done on this...
I'm on stable also and have a current nandroid so maybe I'll throw up the nightly and play around a little.
So far so good, but something really weird happened.
After I booted up I brought up the dialer and long pressed 1 for voice mail, as I connect I got a virgin mobile greeting, explaining that I'd need to call Sprint for some new cell service.
When I dialed my number through the dialer I got right to my voicemail so I'm just thinking someone edited that link.
Out of the box it seems fine but it's only been up for a little bit, just finished my restore from titanium so I'll keep everyone updated. Feels stable though.
HAHa ya you need to Change the Number in Call settings its currently set to *86
just change it to your Cell number and it will work fine
A nice touch (I don't know when this started in the nightly's) but if an app has more than one widget it's collapsed on the add widget screen, so for weather channel it says "The Weather Channel (3 widgets)", you select it and it brings up another box letting you pick each one.
I'm a fan, it makes that widget screen less cluttered.
edit: Dropped 2 FPS on average from 53 to 51, barely noticeable though, just going through the motions.
edit 2: grabbed a 1446 on quadrant, I don't remember my score from cm6 stable though.. oops.
