Looks like I'm not the only one having problems with CM6. I also had it working at one point and now when I try to flash it boot loops. Still haven't figured out why.
 
D3X do you think it could be possible for you to pull the swype keyboard out of feather or one of the other powerups so i could install that without all of the power up? thats really the only reason i keep installing it.

I'm getting a safely over 2000 in Quadrant

If involves the V7 Snap Installation procedure but its pretty awesome

Yeah. I'll give it a try. Let me know how and what snap to download. Also I'm on 8-10 right now should I update to rc2 or is something included?

I already have snap 7.0 and .1 cause I previously tried them so I'm already partitioned

Dude it just booted up. So far its so awesome! it gave me a warning as soon as it booted up about not wiping my partition. I didnt know I had to. I wiped everything else. Will it be ok to go back in recovery and wipe or do I need to start over?

I just tried to wipe the partition. rebooting right now.

It had the same im feeling lucky notice.

system forced closed this time.

I'll start over.

LoL I didnt Wipe my Data/Cache just flashed right over my RC2 setup...

Its Def Dope... :cool:
 
When you do full wipes there is an option to wipe data/factory reset. do you do that? I never have but i thought i'd give it a try. hope i didnt f up.

wiped everything i could find in ra recovery.
flashed rc2
flashed gapps
flashed d3x5P1Nv7.0
rebooted system

Bootloop!

Yea you screwed up haha restore your backup and just flash the kernel over your backup... then your good...
 
I have a problem with my backup. I backed up with clockwork but i switched to ra to partition per cyanogens instructions. Now when i try to backup it says i dont have a backup.

I tried to just reflash rc2. hope this works.

Worked. now i'll try to flash the cool stuff.

When you flashed your snap did it give you that partition error? about not wiping it? did you just select i'm feeling lucky?

I flashed clockwork again. I'll try to flash the snap with that.

Thats exactly what i did. I'm supposed to run gapps right? i thought the market wouldnt work without it? I've had so many problems today. :mad: I can deal with the market for tonight so i'll try to fix it tomorrow. i need it to put all my apps back on that i backed up with appbrain.

Well wait if you have Clockwork back just restore and flash this over your back up now... Then you should be okay...

Think Simple...
 
My backup is 8/10 I want to run rc2. I am running it now and flashed gapps. Everything is working. But when I flash a snap any snap it seems like I start having problems.
 
Hey D3x, i'm running CM6 RC2.. i'm willing to give your new power up a shot.. PM me if you want another tester.
