Daughters first phone

My daughters birthday is coming up and she is ready for her first phone. You can't beat the price for the intercept and she likes my android so I think this is the phone we are going with. Does it have a decent onscreen keyboard? She liles mine but I have swype. Also, does Google lattitude work well? Her main uses will be phone, text and facebook.

How big are her fingers? IMO the onscreen keyboard is small. I have small fingers so it's OK for me, but may annoy others.

The physical keyboard may be better for heavy texting. I didn't try Latitude yet, sorry. And Facebook should work, but the app seems to keep getting complaints.

Thanks, yes her fingers are very small. I have a feeling she'll use the physical keyboard much more but for now she wants one like mine, probably just to have one like mine though and for no other reason.

My 26 year old daughter recently got an Intercept and she likes it pretty well.

I had an Intercept for a week and Google Latitude worked fine on it.
