I think you explained why.lol Something in there doesn't like to run at that high of a speed without the stagefright enabled.

Thats kinda what I thought due to it happening across multiple roms.

Ill make that and have it posted later.

What about added frequencies between 806 and 825? Personally I use Overclock Widget but dont get the option to select 825, with SetCPU I do, the phone will run it (with stagefright) I just dont get the option.

Thanks

That's just how the png is in the Gingerbread theme.

I think Handcent is using a png from framework-res.apk due to the fact that that is the same png used when there are too many notifications to display in the bar.

Try this, get a bunch of services running that show up in the notification bar or download a bunch of apps. If that same red icon pops up then that answers my question.

Never knew handcent was using the framework but clearly it is when you look at it. Everything you listed is easy to fix I believe. Literally 2 png's

KSmithInNY, just tested that stagefright flash on youtube and giantbomb apps, no green line on the video. Looks good, much appreciated :)

beezy, those speed specific flashes that you put up on the main page, which governor are those using? They using the regular "ondemand" or the seemingly more preferred "interactive"? That interactive governor is the only reason I'm still using SetCPU. If you had a 245-729 or 245-748 that included the interactive governor... that would be great.

Just a suggestion guys, maybe an explanation in the kernel section about the differences b/t breezy and zefies kernel.

Camera not working when clocked at 825? Is that just my phones limits or what?

All of them are set to interactive governor on boot.

Just flash one and run it for awhile then flash another see which works best.Ill get some kind of detail up later of a difference.

I personally don't OC to 825 to take pics so i haven't ever had that problem. If it works at 600 then don't try to take a pic when OC'ing.lol

Nick7 don't forget to update the link for "Download GB normal battery" to the digital-ops distribution link instead of the mediafire.

Wow, I disappear for a couple of days and this. Fan-freaking-tastic!!!! :D Flashing now and it looks to be a no sleep night for me playing with all the legos. Huge thanks and props to Nick, KSmith, and beezy.

for max freq 806 you enter this...

echo "806400" > sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

for minimum

echo "245760" > sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq

the governor code you posted should be "interactive" rather than just interactive. I think I posted it before without the " " out of mistake. I really dont know if it makes a diff if the " " are not used. But to be safe I would use them :)

Thanks Cordell, glad I asked now, I was going to guess 804000 :-) As for the quotes, when I CAT scaling_governor it came up with interactive. Does that mean it worked? Sorry took me so long to respond, work has been nuts!

It's official, I have the worst Optimus of anyone on these forums. Anything but the stock buildprop causes all sorts of weirdness for me.

I went back to Community ROM for a week before LEGO was released because it just ran the most trouble free. I'm now realizing it's because ThundeROM & nROM at least enable JIT & HW Acceleration by default. (Correct me if im wrong)

For example, if I enable stagefright and get a notification, the power button and home button will not activate the screen fro at least 10 seconds after the notification. Thankfully Ksmith provided the stagefright only buildprop so I could narrow that down.

I don't know what my point is. Just ranting. :-)

Just flashed Lego rom with JIT, hardware acceleration, GB theme, and one of beezy's kernels. So many combinations will make for the ultimate customization experience. You guys rock.

I'm unsure if it was the kernel, or the build prop, but I noticed that while running lego, my phone felt a little warmer to the touch, and that was before trying to clock it past 600 mhz... it also seemed/felt like my battery was draining a little more quickly. I've since moved back to ThundeRom and it's all happy...

not sure what to think... might have to give it a go again here in a couple of days.

All in all, I haven't noticed any issues with having JIT enabled... or any of the other extra curricular add-ons for that.

Oh yeah, that's our "midwinter handwarmer" process in action. Nahh just playing lol.

Actually LEGO ROM and ThundeROM are very similar in architecture, almost identical leave the kernel. Are you sure it wasn't an application in the background running the CPU? What was your exact setup?
