Hey, was just reading your @zefierants twitter feed and I am worried, Will you stop updating now that you no longer have an android phone? or do i misunderstand? Will you be getting another one?
Updates will slow down, I will occasionally check mik9 and Cyanogen git for updates if no one else has taken over but hopefully someone else will resume and complete this project.
Also 04192011 is uploading. You can't download it until it's done (because my file indexer is just awesome like that), so when it lets you, have fun![]()
I think it is usable enough currently, the small bugs that are left over are the cost of getting gingerbread on something that hasn't even been slated for an update, despite rumors of the Optimus One line being updated.
Someone will get bored enough and grab the reigns. I'm holding on to my Optimus, until the Nexus S releases, but who knows, someone might get a gift if they make a couple promises.
I know the S doesn't have the bleeding edge processor in it, but it has other things that make it attractive to a developer. Plus it's the most easily un-lockable device short of the nook Color.

I feel for ya, I lost a Razr the same way. I learned from three identical Treo 700p's that no phone will function the same way. Even when one phone on the shelf works flawlessly, the one behind it might sink like a brick.
A toast to all the faulty devices that give technology a bad name, and to the people that have to deal with them.
Disclaimer: I paid full price for mine, so even though I love it dearly, I have a vested interest in cuddling it no matter what.

I'll flash in the morning.I'm guessing if I paid for mine I would have been less inclined to smash it. I did pay for it at first but then Sprint credited me (I ordered it online, then they started giving it away like a week later.) So technically it was free.
I still feel no remorse. Usually I regret stuff like this the next day but I don't miss the phone. Just eager for my replacement Lotus to come tomorrow and for my ex to find my blackberry.
Also, the upload is complete.
Zefie, PMed you, I think...msgs not showing up in my sent...
they don't unless you specifically tell it to, but then it eats your pitifully small PM allocation quicker![]()
lol....of course...the check box....poor sleepless brain.
>.> lol. The sad part is I had to Google that despite seeing that movie.
I'll probably make a final update this weekend. I doubt CM7 will be updated much more since they released it as final so..
The source is, of course, still fully open on my github and will remain so. So its not the end, just the end of me doing it
Someone else can pick up on it though!
Also, as for the Lotus, Sprint is mailing me a replacement, so hopefully tomorrow I will have a stable dumbphone.
I'm in Dallas Texas and I know that the Sprint stores around here are real good about replacing screens on their devices free of charge. You might want to check into it. A real good friend of mine has had his EVO screen replaced 2 times since he got it in Feb.
