Lickylui, it works really well. Some bugs but nothing too major. Still functions as a phone with talk, text, and data. Try it out and see for yourself.

Same thing happened to me at first. I somehow got my contacts eventually, try rebooting. They should come it just might take a while.

Only issue I've had is the lock button not turning the screen off. Runs like a ****ing champ.

OK, this is awesome, but my OCD is kicking in. How do I change the carrier text from Sprint to VM?
You can't without compiling from source, well maybe you can rip the apk with apktool (its in framework-res.apk and in /res/xml/eri.xml), but this is untested, and for the sake of bug reporting I'd prefer you did not.
There is no user-friendly way at the moment.
Please tolerate "Sprint" for now. When we achieve more stability I will look into a way to properly support Optimus V.

VM are just hacked to show VM instead of Sprint Aka if I make it say "Virgin Mobile", then it will on our Sprint phones too New version is great, cpu settings in cyanogenmod settings seem to work great. Brightness control works great. Very nice. Once it stabilizes, really the only things that will have to be done to support the V fully will be carrier text and MMS settings. Everything else seems to work great. I changed "*86" in voicemail settings to my phone number and dialing 1 now works for checking voicemail on Virgin Mobile.
Haven't tested a call coming in but vibration motor definitely works for me.

Hit speaker icon to cycle through ring modes, vibrates when you are on ring+vib or just vib.

Right on, man! Like I said, total OCD, not a big deal. Thought there might have been a simple trick like on iPhones, but I guess not. Anyways, keep up the great work!
alright. i was running 15 yesterday, and didnt seem to have the vibrate for like sms messages. maybe 16 will change that.
