Probably way too early for feature requests, and not even sure how this works, (would this go in the main CM7 thread or something?), but I find it odd that there is a "JIT Enable/Disable" under Settings->CyanogenMOD->Performance, but no "Stagefright Enable/Disable"...I'm guessing this is because most phones do just fine with Stagefright.

Any chance of inserting an "Enable/Disable" option, or am I stuck with editing build.props each time?

You can request this through the issue tracker as an enhancement...I think.:-\

Well, the problem is, I don't think you CAN disable stagefright on Gingerbread. when i added the =false lines, the player sounded, acted, and responded the same.

Trust me I wanted it off too as it messes up on some of my aac files. Sorry :(

anyone have an issue with incoming calls? Mine seems to take the call fine, but when I go to hang up, it just gives me a black screen, and I have to pull the battery.

It seems to be more twitchy proximity sensor crap. I've had it happen a lot today. Putting my thumb over the prox sensor, (directly to the left of the "sprint" logo on the screen, just down and to the left from the speaker) for a moment and then removing it makes the screen light again. I had a few times when I thought the screen had blanked, and no buttons would fix it, but a flash of my thumb over the prox sensor solved it.

yeah thats the best i can get it for now

Zefie, just got the energy to flash the latest nightly and it works great. Sorry for not doing a lot to help like I want to, being sick makes it hard to do much.

I am having an issue that when I am in a call my screen goes blank and sometimes I cannot get it to come back. it will eventually come back after the call is over and I randomly press keys. any ideas?

updated from 15 earlier today. works awesome.

odd thing i noticed...while in a call i have the normal options... end, mute, speaker....etc ...but behind them i have a round slider with a send and end option. first time i saw it was when i got an incoming call it was just the round slider till i answered. Then it went to the standard in-call screen in front of the slider. when i make outgoing calls its there too. it still moves but doesn't do anything. I see that it shows up as fixed in the issues tracker... any ideas...is it worth reloading the ROM? when i installed 16 i used the current procedures, the wipe zip, then wiped dalvik and then installed.

I couldn't replicate the error... maybe try clearing /system through Clockwork's built in function then flash?

I had the same issue. Used the wipe zip at first when going from 15 to 16 but still had the problem. It didn't go away until I did a complete wipe in recovery(data/factory reset, cache, etc.) and then install 16.
