was wonder whats the best to do to get the most speed out of the phone an was wondering the best speed for the cpu an governer trying to get the best performance out of the phone ware it wont restart on

Let me know when call of duty comes out for the phone and requires crazy off the charts proformance and well get you crazy numbers. In the mean time there really isn't a reason to overclock but if you just HAVE to do it to do it then 748 is nominal 768 MAY have SOME intermittent restarts that you ptobably wont notice. To be safe I really would recommend only going to 748. The processor can reach 864 some people SAY they get stable 825 out of our phones and I used to run an 806 but I dont OC anymore at all, no need for it even heavy apps dont lag the only time the phone is slow is just after start up but since I do t turn it off very often I dont usually have to deal with that.

I like my phone but dont want or need it 24/7... when i'm asleep, whatever it is can wait till morning, unless my wife is @ work. Then it stays on.

Thx all who ans. me earlier. :)

Ps.what do i use for voice mail?? i kinda like the sprint app...
OH and why doesn't Gapps work w/ wifi on??
Google voice works fine, I like that the sprint one DOES NOT handle text messages like GV does but there are separate icons for text and voice mail.

Quick question - I'd like to switch over to google voice, but was having trouble... I read in 1 forum related to my problems with it that Sprint may not offer the phone number forwarding required to make it work in all areas? Does that sound right?

I got it all set up, dial the number, hear the beeps, then it hangs up, everything ACTS like it worked.. but whenever I get a call that goes to voice mail, it says my number is disconnected.

1 thing I noticed is the phone number required to activate it (you know, the series of numbers including the google number)... well, the "google number" part of the activation # it asks me to dial doesn't match my google phone number in my google account. I tried dialing with the corrected number too, but still not working.

The lack of swype isn't the bug. Quite frequently swype will cease to work properly. It only reacts like the default keyboard... one key press at a time functionality but I can't "swype" words. Everytime I try the border of swype flashes blue.

This is how swype works when it is installed, but has not found a valid license.

Hi after i fix the vibration thing, now i'm having a problem with my speaker while in a call, it is extremely low. I already checked all the boxes and i didnt found anything.

Can anyone help me to raise the volume of it during calls?

Everything seems fine and I know ours have the simmilar set ups. And I'm assuming you mean on speaker phone right? Either way I tested both and both were easily loud enough to hear the other end.

I'm happy that it works for you, but for me it doesn't. When i make a call i press the volume to max and i barely can hear the other person in speaker phone.

hai hai, sorry, two things come to mind, one you can edit the equalizer for the phones speaker and raise all the values, two, go into privacy and uncheck automatic restore, and back up my data, as these settings could be trying to restore settings from a previous flash, if that still doesn't work, and i'm sure you've probably tried this as it seems to be everyone's first trouble shooting tool, clear delvik and cache, and flash the rom straight over.

one other thing, have you tried playing music or some other sound through the speaker, is it also quiet or is it playing at proper volume?

I'll keep poking around in case i find something else.

Music plays perfect, sound loud, it is only during calls.

Hey, I'd feel like an idiot to assume anything but anyone know of the work for the CM7 ROM for the V at XDA? I'm running the optimus S, but I've read through 12 pages on their forum, not 1 mention of bad sounding music like we have with this 1. Not that their sound is perfect, but maybe. I'd hope there's some collaboration going on. And if the audio is fine on that 1, could we maybe use the libaudio from that one or whatever the problem is with ours?

Just in case, the XDA link is:
[ROM][WIP] aospCMod for LG Optimus V | AOSP 2.3.3 / CM7 (Gingerbread) [03/06/2011] - xda-developers

It's not the ROM. TR1.7 is the same way. Check Google Mobile Help for the many complaints from all different carriers/phones.
