It does not have that service listed on the services I subscribe for. There is no special profile either in NVRAM.

Also I wasn't the only person on the tether thread that noticed they didn't need a widget to get Portable Hotspot working.

just upgraded from 1.7 to 1.8, it looks great. one problem, whenever i reboot, it gets stuck on the lg logo. i have to take my battery out, connect my optimus to my computer, wait for it to say "battery needed", put the battery in, and then it boots up fine. any suggestions?

Stagefright is optional.

Do mot use older buildprops.

1.8 kernel cannot overclock

ok just installed zefies kernel an now my android version is 2.2.1 an build number is ZVC should i worry an i installed a theme throw recovery is that bad?

I just installed the Xionia 008 kernel and everything went well. Android version is still 2.2.2, Baseband is still VD and SW version is still VD as well. Overclocked with SetCPU and got 8.9 on Linpack and 973 on Quadrant. Only downside, I got the Sprint boot animation again.

If I remember right, nROM comes with the free version of Launcher Pro. You can either get that or ADW Launcher from the Market. Both have free options. I use ADW Launcher EX which is the paid version.

Kpfeiffer is correct. We include a modified version of the android GB launcher. 3rd party launchers are readily available in the market by the dozens so we don't include one.

If you'd like some ideas theres adw, adw ex (paid), launcher pro, launcher pro plus (paid), go launcher ex, launcher 7, open home 6, open home full (paid) .... The list goes on. Just search launcher in the market.

I've had that problem before and a reboot would fix it for me.

Yesterday when I put the new thunderrom version onto the root of my sd card and then I went into recovery to flash it and it wasn't showing up only the other version? Thanks so much! Also I messed around with that partitioning which I knew nothing about and it erased everything on my sd card. I have an 8g sd card.
