Help :)
I seem to be having major problem with bluetooth.
I tried pairing and connecting to 2 bluetooth devices and both resulted in :
process com.android.settings has stop unexpectedly. Force close

I relaunched settings and pairing eventually fails with "unable to communicate with bluetooth device.

To replicate I did the following: recovery. wiped data, cache, davlik cache. reflashed community rom. Bluetooth works perfectly with both devices. went back into recovery wiped data, cache, davlik and flashed V1.2 of the ThundeROM. after reboot, first thing i did was try bluetooth. same error as before. booted into recovery again, wipe data, cache, davlik cache and after boot same error.

Any ideas of what might be the problem. How is bluetooth working for the others?

Devices in question were Acura hands free link and LG HBS-700 bluetooth headset

EDIT
Just tried to flash V1 to the phone and same problem as with version 1.2
Flashing community ROM now to make sure its repeatable

UPDATE2:
Flashed Community ROM and bluetooth works perfectly without issues.

Please help me figure this out as original ROM is ugly :)
Thanks

Alex

[Request] After you open application list, for the image on the bottom center, I think the original image is better than the white house one. Minor, but :p

Having issues with my wireless tether. after running for about 7-10 minutes and using the connection constantly (i.e. Youtube, craigslist non-stop), I lost connection on my computer. I looked at my phone and realized it had shut off. (the phone itself)

I don't have the ability to try on the stock ROM right now so I apologize beforehand....

My only guess is that this is contributed to the battery being hot as I saw no other status displays available in the app. Maybe I should say that is my hope. I at least wanted to say something. Maybe somebody else was having the same problem?

Although I can't really complain.... The app allowed me to access the internet when I otherwise wouldn't have been able to...

wireless-tether also seems to kill the ability to use wifi until reboot.

Is a fix being looked into for the next thundeROM release?

Im checking into all of these right now. I use wireless tether all the time and have not had this issue at all. About bluetooth im checking that out i have a bluetooth but it's not a newer one it work 100% fine for regular voice just not sure about audio playback.
Question to anyone having a problem with tethering/bluetooth are you using the stock kernel or custom? If it's custom remove and try again if that's not the case then don't worry about the last part.

I know that I'm in no position to ask for requests but... is it possible to release a theme less version?

I'm using stock kernel. nothing else was loaded except ThunderROM v1.2
Both of my bluetooth devices support regular audio profile as well as stereo. Maybe the problem is with stereo and not with regular headset profile.

Let me clear this up a little first ThundeRom isn't a theme over the stock rom. Ksmith has sent countless hours reowrking and editing the framework of the rom. So no there is no way to release a "theme less" version. There's always the stock build with root.(Community_Build) you could run that if this is not something you like.
Ksmith and me have been building roms for awhile now and when it came to the optimus we decided we were going to please "us" first. We know that everyone else might not like or want what we have created and that's fine. Sometime down the road we might do something different but not yet and no promises.
I'll make a deal with everyone if there is enough demand for it ill make a stock looking build with tweaks and some stuff from ThundeRom if you want it post http://forum.androidcentral.com/lg-optimus-s/45757-rom-community_build.html and then we can go from there.

Thanks for that info im going to be doing some testing on it.

I'm actually charging up my old moto bluetooth headset. Once its charged, I will flash back to ThunderROM and try to pair it

I used a old moto and that's the one i had no issues with. Im checking it out with a couple others once they charge up.

Beezy, I am running the stock kernel and was having the issues with wireless tethering. Would there be any other reason the phone would just shut off while charging and having the wireless tethering program running? I have literally only added angry birds on top of the ROM... No other changes gave been made that I can think of..

Sorry again guys as I have no way to test the stock rom right now or even recreate this issue. But thank u for looking into it

Beezy - My theory is correct. If bluetooth device has only phone profile it pairs and works ok. As soon as I tried to pair with LG HBS-700 which has 2 profiles (phone and media) i got com.android.settings force close. So it looks like media profile is causing the problem. My Moto H700 connected and paired without any issues but it only has phone profile

So first com.android.settings forces closed. then after about 10-15 seconds i get this:

There was a problem pairing with LG HBS-700 because PIN or passkey is incorrect. I click ok and next error is there wa a problem pairing with bluetooth device. As far as I know it doesn't have passkey and paired with no issues when I flashed community rom

Scond issue with bluetooth. Tried pairing with a stock optimus s and a moto h550(one profile phone only). Same force close message. Got fc by settings, wireless networks, bluetooth settings, pair with something.

Stock optimus S - does that mean non rooted and running original sprint rom?

Good question. You referring to the kernel or the ROM ichi?

For any tethering issues, have you guys tried the native tethering rather than the google code app? Can duplicate the wifi radio issue on google code app. Can't on native tethering.
