Not sure what that has to do with anything. The issue is whether the issues with Gingerbread on the DX is Google's fault. I still say that it's more Motorola's issue. Motorola is taking Gingerbread, modifying it, and putting in on their device, and then selling it (with their name on the device) to Verizon and the consumer. If the software doesn't work, they should either fix it or create a workaround, tell Google to fix it, or don't put it on the device. Regardless, Motorola modified it and put it out on their device.

Its not necessarily google it is moto's crappy skin that slows things down and causes the issues. Notice how stock android phones dont have all these issues? HTC and moto seem to be having these problems on their phones which both use a manufacturer skin.

Developers kick out better ROMS than the manufacturers. There is something wrong with that picture. at any rate there will always be issues with software. In the end though its the manfactueres responsibility to get a stable build out the door. Developers do it all the time.

If by "developers" you mean the open source community, well DUH! The manufacturers have the Marketing people dictating what features they have to provide and how things should look, and I'm convinced that this world would be a better place if it had less "marketing" in it.

Unfortunately, I have first-hand experience (designing hardware & writing firmware) with demands by Marketing groups. Out of all the companies I've worked for (since 1978), only two have truly listened to their customers to build new products or enhance old ones.

I actually enjoy the work I do (you hear that Barracuda Web Filter? Yeah get a good look at this), but the Bionic is too strong to get me away from it.

No, because he hasn't sent them to anybody and we all advised him not to (including those of us in touch by e-mail). As harsh as it may sound, you don't trust your livelihood to someone you've just met on the Internet. Ever.

Don't worry about it.. the internet general rules don't apply to Princesses, Ambassadors, or Former Ministers from African countries. Just consider yourself lucky that they found your email address out of all the possible people in the world to help them launder it.

Ha yes they did. It's funny these sites make a "blurry picture" and say all of the sudden it is new and just leaked. That pic has been out for weeks lol. I agree I hope they keep the name bionic. I mean it goes so well with the droid eye in the pics and just sounds better than most of the other names they used for phones.

With all the hype that has surrounded the Bionic, and the fact that they refer to it as the Bionic even now when posting information on twitter, I can assure you they will not change the name.
