So i just talked to HTC rep to clarify the 4/24 availability, and they said they have no idea why this is other than high demand. They then just referred me to letstalk, and have been waiting on hold for 15mins so far. How can HTC not be aware when you order it from their website!! Yes, i understand that they use letstalk, but its still initially through their site!.
If I don't receive phone before 4/26 (date for HTC trade up), will i not be eligible for the $100?
Just got off the phone with letstalk... very rude i should add. The rep said that the phone has been pushed back by at least 1 week for all carriers by HTC (although HTC rep is not aware of anything of the sort). No guarantees for when it will shipped. When i told her that ATT will have phone availabe on original release date, she said she doesn't believe that ATT would have it earlier than letstalk since they are the largest phone activators in the country, and if i wanted to cancel and wait for ATT I could go ahead and do so!!! GREAT SUPPORT!!!! didn't need the attitude!!!
THe only good thing is I talked to HTC again (who are great, but don't have all info), they said they would still honor the trade up offer as long as it was ordered prior to 4/26 date.
So i guess we wait and see
