developer options (animations) lagging home key

So I have disabled a few apps in my non-rooted phone SGH-1747M 4.1. Kernel version 3.0.31. international version and I have also turned off transition animation sclae, animator duration scale and window animation scale all to zero. Since then I have tried to use the home screen buttom and hold it to get to task manager, but it has caused a lag or between 3 to 6 seconds inconsistently. What i mean by inconsistency is that it would not lag at all then next time i would hold it it would take 3-6 seconds. ANy reason for this? is it due to disabled apps or this animation scale?
