I recently bought an unlocked HTC One Max from eBay through the seller "Bid Allies" for 242$. It supposedly said that the trust rating is 98% but I ve heard some questionable reviews about the seller online. But I ve already purchased the phone. What do you think?

Well, you won't know until you actually receive it. Hopefully you read the description nice and clearly. I'd read what a majority of the reviews say and decide from there. Personal experience, I bought an iPad Air 2 off a seller that was selling it in bulk; arrived in a generic box, charger from China, and of course a dent on the side of the iPad.
