I want to buy a Samsung Galaxy S ii. This link claims that the Galaxy S ii Plus, running Jelly Bean, has a better battery time than the original S ii running Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. However, the article doesn't compare the S ii plus to the S ii running JB.
I have read some posts about JB updates initially draining battery, but then with a few cycles or tweaks, going back to normal.
So, my question is: Did updating your Galaxy S ii from ICS to JB improve battery life at all? If so, do you think the improvement was comparable to what the article suggests (1.5-2 hours)? Or do you think the S ii Plus just has a better battery life, period, due to other factors?
Just trying to decide if I should get the Plus or the Original. Battery life would be a huge factor. Thoughts?
