Use it wisely people. You only get two resubmissions. And you must use the link in the initial denial e-mail. Going to the site again will tell you that you've already used the imei.
 
Ugh I knew this would happen. Check your order on verizon's site. I ordered right after preorder was available like you, and email said 8/2 but on my orders on verizon, it said 8/3 since it goes by ET. Take a screenshot and try sending that.
You're right. I went back and checked and it does say 8/2 on the email which is stupid because the email came in at 12:06 AM (eastern time) on 8/3. You would think Samsung would use some common sense and realize that it was ordered on 8/3. My second submission has a date of 8/14 so we will see how that goes.
 
Good luck. T-Mobile did nothing for me. I changed the date myself and resubmitted. Fingers crossed.
 
P.S. I checked my order status and saw it had been approved and shipped with a tracking number and went "holy crap, wow...oh"

My dang S7E offer still shows up on there lol.

Wow man nice! I was approved the last time I checked but no tracking number as of yet. How long does yours say it's gonna take? I also got a fit 2 in small haha

I was hesitant to submit mine prematurely because of this. There's so many dates, if Samsung didn't agree I'm screwed. I finally asked a T-mobile rep when I was activating the sim on a phone and they said 8/14. This wasn't even one of the dates I was considering. As soon as I looked through a bunch of emails, I found one with the lease agreement that matched.

Mine just got denied because they said the receipt did not show any elgible products purchased. I ordered from att.com and took a photo of the invoice that was in the box but I guess that was not good enough.

Just re submitted using a photo of the order status page with order number, and it says "Galaxy note 7" with a photo of the phone. hope that is good enough.
 
Submitted mine yesterday for the 256gb card for both phones and it's showing approved as well! They're on the ball getting these things out.
 
Do i need to submit if i Pre-ordered from Best-Buy?? Im picking my phone up later today

Sometimes Samsung's one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.

In my experience, they have always been good about being flexible when I've taken them to task, which I had to do on an N5 promo last year. If you can't finagle the purchase date manually to get what you are honestly due, just call and I bet they'll take care of you.

Preordered silver through VZW store and having it shipped there. Didn't pay for anything and therefore don't have a receipt to submit the claim for the memory card. But will be picking it up later today and will submit asap. First Samsung phone since the Gnex, can't wait!!!
 
Mine is "Submission Approved. Preparing for Shipment." Pre-ordered at an AT&T store on 8/7 and received it yesterday (18th). Chose memory card. Hopefully it doesn't take them 4-6 weeks to prepare :p

Those of you who are having purchase date issues - is the trouble with the date of your reservation/pre-order request, or do you actually have a hard purchase date that occurs prior to the required 8/3 date?

Just looking for clarification to know if I'll end up with the same issue.

On my first submission that was denied I used a PDF export of the order confirmation email Verizon sent me when I did my preorder. I didn't realize at the time that the order date in the email said 8/2/16. My second submission I used the actual packing slip receipt that was in the box which has an order date of 8/14 but I do not have a confirmation of if that was accepted or denied yet.

This is a very interesting thread because I experienced a bunch of drama over this issue the night I was placing my order. I am in Arizona but we do not change our clocks, so for all intents and purposes I am on PST right now. I was ready to order and I started reading the terms and conditions of the free watch or SD card. It clearly stated Aug. 3 as the start of the purchasing window.

The chat folks said I would be fine because my order in the Verizon system said it was Aug. 3. That said, the email I received after ordering said it was Aug. 2. So, I called Verizon and the really nice rep called Samsung for me and Samsung said it would be Ok. All this is in my notes on my account but we will see what happens after I receive my official receipt from Verizon. My accounts page does say the order was placed on Aug. 3.
 
Gear Fit 2. I already had a 200gb sd card that I got when I jumped on a V10 last year. I also had Netflix when I jumped on the S7edge this year, so...


I just checked my status online and it was also approved and preparing for shipment. #SamsungRocks

I got an email saying the same thing my date isn't within the promotion time limit I also ordered on the 2nd of August.

That doesn't make sense. I know technically it wasn't within the promotion period but it's not like you bought it afterwards. You pre ordered the device. They should give it to you. Come on now.

They've, Samsung, have all straight up said "sorry" and to blame T-Mobile. My new status shows under review so here's hoping.
