My wife submitted for the Galaxy Gear Fit 2 and got it about a week or so ago. I however, submitted for the year of free Netflix and is still pending approval. When calling Samsung and asking about it, I was told I had to wait 4-6 weeks for it to be approved. Suspicious.

This is all Samsungs fault.... With the recall I think they put a hold on the promotion..... I haven't heard anyone recieve their gift after this recall was announced....

Ok, here is my situation. I got the Note 7 the second day they were out. Filled out the online submission for the 256gb card and got the card a week and a half later. No problems at all. However, with the recall I decided to retrun the N7 instead of wait out this fiasco and get a S7 Edge instead. When I switched phones I asked about the card. I was told to keep it. Samsung apperanlty has not been asking for the "gifts" back and the promo applied to the S7 Edge as well when I got the N7 so its all good. Now I see Samsung has started a new promotion where you can get a Gear VR or a 256gb card if you buy the S7 Edge within a certain time frame (I did). I was told to go ahead and put in for the second promotion but I kinda feel like that would be double dipping. Doesn't feel right. But on the other hand if Samsung isn't asking for the promo items from the N7 back I kind of don't see where it would hurt. Wouldn't mind a VR but I just don't know if it would be right. Thoughts?

Just got my shipping email for my GF2 large. I submitted 8/30 and was approved 8/31. I got the "in route" message last week when I checked and just now got the email - 9/12. Darn. They sent it slow boat... FE Home Delivery. Says here by 9/16, but seeing is believing since it only says label printed.

Do it, I think Samsung would want you to have both gifts for staying loyal to their brand, and after having to go through the exchange process with the N7.

I see on the Samsung community support forum someone asked about the promotion and a Samsung moderator said that with the recall the promotions are on hold.

Finally got my 256GB microSD card. Pretty sweet, although I won't even open it until I have a new Note 7. I'm optimistic that will happen in the next two weeks.

I got a high capacity card that was intended for my N7 and arrived the other day. It's unopened in case I want to send it back. It was a great price, not that I needed it, but I figured... and then the recall.
