I havent crashed once yet, I dont really know what that means but I guess it means you get no service or cant call and stuff. hasnt happened yet anyway.
My phone has been up all day no issues. But it seems it always crashes in the evening......

Woke up this am and modem crashed, stuck in airplane mode.

I flashed stock DL09, wiped sd card, flashed new cwm_froyo, applied update.zip, installed DL30.zip, rebooted, works fine now. Note I was running DJ05 not DL09. So its a possibility the problem was with DL30.

So this has happened 3 times now this morning being the most recent. Strange issue and I want to see if it happened to anyone else....
Where my phone seems to put itself into some kind of Hybrid airplane mode because I still get cell radio bars and 3g and it shows airplane mode is OFF.
BUT....I can't seem to send or receive texts, voicemails, or even dial or receive calls.....Until after I power it off and then back on again....
All signs show it's working cell radio signal, 3g etc....
The problem is huge because I didn't know for a day and a half that it wasn't working until my wife came home from out of town and asked why I never returned her call or voicemail which didn't show till after the phone reboot...The strange part was that the cell radio appeared to be working the entire time (no circle with a slash).....very frustrating as i couldn't even tell I was even missing calls....
My phone has only done this since the EA28 update not sure if it's that but it has got to be related to something but I can't figure out what, which is why I come to you all for help.
I have stayed on the completely Stock OS from the beginning to EA28 (my current OS), Rooted it each time an update came out just to use titanium backup, running adw-ex.

My preference would be to stay as stock as possible.....but if after a few days of troubleshooting, if I still don't find an answer I may be back to take you up on upgrading....I am hoping someone else on the forums may have had this issue and knows of a fix.
The reason for trying to stay stock is I tend to use some of the bloatware and I thought most rom's removed most of it to speed the phone up, extend battery life, underclock cpu etc....
the first option in my thread is completely bloated with all verzion and samsung preinstalled apps.... it just has the added benefit of being rooted and having clockworkmod recovery installed
I haven't heard of this yet but I have some ideas. Stay away from any airplane mode widgets you might have, tasker, etc. If it pops back up try flashing back to stock di01 and outs again.
I use no auto task killers and although I do have beautiful widgets I don't use any of the notification bar widgets it comes with and I don't ever put it into airplane mode. So for it to just basically stop taking calls/txts/and not update voicemails is
beyond me as to why. I also have never put any roms, kernels or anything on it. Just stock updates OTA then I root.
I think I am gonna try a factory reset and see if it fixes anything. If I a factory reset just curious will i have to re-root? Since I want to restore my app backup right after and i need root to access them.
