i flashed the kernel from [KERNEL] Built from EC10 source - Voodoo(lagfix+sound)+BLN+UV+Misc tweaks - xda-developers yesterday. if i want to flash adrynalyne's kernel_update.zip from his thread, I can just flash over the current one with cwm..right? or is this one in the same?

One big diff is boot sounds work on imnuts kernels
You haven't had any trouble's with it? I was reading imnuts' thread and almost everyone is reporting they are losing root with his kernels. Open terminal emulator and type su then hit enter key. If you get a permission denied message, you lost root.
I downloaded it, but haven't flashed it because of the problems I've read

I locked up with 100 on shutdown screen....50 is good for me. Ya I seen them losing root an stuff....yow...jus checked and ya i did lose root grrr...whats the best way to get it back? one click?

I could be mistaken, but I thought DroidXcon said superclean ROMs now include root. You could just flash 2.9.2 voodoo or nonvoodoo, whichever you are running. If that doesn't work, just use DroidXcon's ODIN package that doesn't wipe, then flash cwm-all in ODIN right after.
Ok so I have now downloaded about all the new kernels out right now and my phone will not work with any but JT's kernel the 327-2 all other cause my phone to go crazy and force close. So I don't know what's up in happy one works but wonder why none of the others are working? I am voodoo I have the 2.9. 2 sc rom and the honeycomb theme on it so don't know what's up I have done everything but a data.

I have tried all the kernels except imnuts and im now running Adrnalynes undervolted ....it seems to be runnimg just great so far.
I would try that, chances are if you're having a problem now you're going to have problems later. Backup what you need to backup, flash back to stock, wipe everything a few times and try again.
