Do any Note 8 fans want the Note FE instead?

Pop the back cover off one, pull the battery, and sell it to me for $300.

No, it won't be waterproof, but I can see what 6+Ah battery can be made to fit in the cavity with some "flex room", wire it up, and 3D print a case to fit it. Or take two stock replacement batteries and run them in parallel.

A bit Frankensteinian, but I'll have the battery life of a god. LOL

anyone else still using the Note 7? I'm finally getting ready to return it to Samsung for the full refund but it has been a great experience despite the battery fiasco news. I'm fortunate to have enjoyed this phone for basically a year before shifting to the Note 8!

Been reading Erica Griffen Tweets on her FE and agree with her... FE > S8 even if last years specs. But probably Note 8 > FE.

I don't -- only reason is I have a huge mental block about buying a phone I bought in the past. The FE is basically a non-exploding Note 7.
