Do You Have 4G Connection Issues?


Time To Connect To 4G?

Stuttering Connection?

Dropped Connection?


I live on Maui Hawaii and my Sprint coverage map is fairly solid.

I'm using the hotspot function to connect my iPad.

It's taking between 1 to 5 minutes to connect to 4G with the EVO.

Sometimes the connection will stutter by switching off and on continuously for a minute.

Sometimes the connection will completely drop.

What is most disappointing is that I have yet to go above 0.52 MBPS.

I am subscribed to the Sprint mobile hotspot service for $30.00

Looks like I will have to go in for tech analysis.

Anyone else having these issues?

I'm on Oahu and we're not getting great results either. My max in full 4G coverage is 1.8 Mbit/s.

I talked to Sprint Reps today and they say it's not going to be fast for awhile as they can't handle all the traffic right now. Phones are sold out and people are going crazy for 4G.

They said it was the same situation when the Overdrive was first introduced.

Plus 4G's 2.5 Ghz frequency can't penetrate walls and trees for some reason. I have great coverage outside but step behind mother nature and the signal is gone!
