i have a droid razz maxx hd and i use nfc all the time
and heres a few i have used in the last 48 hours

i use it to transfer data from my old phone (Samsung Google Nexus S)
i use it to play some games with my friends that are nfc enabled like fruit ninja
i use a tag at home to trun off my data and trun on my wifi and then if i tap it again it trun on my data and off my wifi
i use a tag in my room on my night stand cause i use it as an alarm so it turns the volume to max and sets an alarm
i have another tag on top of my tv that starts netflixs
i have one in my car that trun on my Jelli Radio app
i have on at my work desk that set my phone to vibrate or turns back on the sound
i have one on my bike that lunches Strava Cycling and turns on blue tooth so i can use wireless head sets
i use nfc tags as party invites
i use them all over the place
