Does Doze mess up the timer?

Last night I set a timer for 2 hours. I promptly forgot about it, and was surprised when it finally went off it was almost 5 minutes late. It looks like the phone was in doze, and the phone did not come out of doze in order to sound the timer. I was using the stock Android clock app. I do use the aggressive doze option on the greenify app, that could be an issue as well.

Anybody else notice this?

Doze should exclude the stock clock app. Did you exclude it from greenify too?

No, Greenify will not hibernate apps when you have a lock screen on.
