Does Google block saved passwords from Amazon Apps

So I have a generic Android 8 head unit with Amazon Music installed. Every time I get in the car and start the App it wants my Amazon account and password. The app doesn't seem to have an option to save the user and account password. Is Android blocking this somehow because it's not a Google App?

No, it's not. Either an app bug, or if you have logged into your Amazon Music account in several devices, chances are that one is being logged out automatically by Amazon (this, for instance, happens to me a lot with Vudu since I have it on all my Rokus, tablet and phone, so one of them is always getting 'bumped out' because of the device sign-in limit imposed by Vudu).
