Does it work in Kenya? Is this a global, one version phone?

I assume the Pixel 2 works in Europe. That's probably a no brainer. But - I need to know if it works in Kenya as well. I have taken Samsung and Huawei phones to Kenya and they work. When I search, I was getting results like "specifications for the Pixel 2 in Kenya."

There is only version of the Pixel 2, right? It's a global phone, right? (minus Japan, of course)

Yes, it'll work. Kenya uses 900/1800 for 2G, 2100 for HSPA, and 800 (band 20) for LTE, all of which are supported by the Pixel 2 and 2 XL. The only things that may not are VoLTE and wi-fi calling, assuming those services are offered. Best thing to do is to ask the carrier you intend to use it on. The same goes for visual voicemail. If that's something you want, ask the carrier, just to be safe.

Thanks for this this! I am on AT&T and will check with them as well. I don't plan on using it for voice calling unless there is an emergency. I am just not extremely familiar with the Pixel.
