Android Central Question

In my work place, we have an international web spam filter, which is pretty strict, and requires a phone number to be input for a text verification. When I enter my number, I do not get a text message for verification. I thought it might've been an issue, with my service since I do not have international calling/texting. So I upgraded to the Global voice 200, which allows calling and text from selected countries (Allowed from the UK). I tried to verify it again but I do not get a text message.

There's a message that states, "T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages."

I'm wondering if this is the case? Anyone have any issues with this?

Sounds more like an issue with the service used to send the text message. Using Exchange's service, for instance, will only allow texting to a certain number of carriers (Google Voice is not supported). So the texting service your company uses might not support MetroPCS for texting.

Another possibility is that your number needs additional digits for texting (since you mention this is international). For instance, some countries need to add a 1 prior to the phone number for cellphone calling/texting to work, or in countries like Mexico which still have a 'caller pays for airtime' scheme, a 044 prefix is needed.
