Im still thinking of possibly buying a 6P, simply for the fact i can swap roms on it...The bending is scary though

If you don't abuse the phone, ie. try to bend it, it's not going to bend without an extreme accident. If you're not constantly breaking all your previous devices, I wouldn't worry about it here either.

I had 3 nexus 6P. The original then two replacements. All have been in cases and tempered glass, and out of the 3 phones two bent at the volume /power button. I sent the 3rd phone back and I was asked if I'd be happy with another replacement.I said I've lost confidence in the 6P and asked if I could have a refund. I was granted the refund and the next day I sent the phone back.
Was seriously considering a pixel xl. But it's not available in the Irish Google play store. I could have purchased one in Northern Ireland for€880 for 32gb. Couldn't justify the price, so I bought a 128gb OnePlus 3t for €480. Impressed so far and rate it above the 6P. The screen is as good to my eyes but a hell of a lot brighter. And it's so fast.
I'll see what comes out over the next few months before I decide if I want to change. I'll seriously consider upgrading to a OnePlus 4 if it's as good as it's rumoured to be and bed in how good the OnePlus 3t had been so far.

I've had the 6P since May and no bending here...But I'm careful when it comes to my phones.

Ditto. I've had my phone since March of last year and haven't had any bending issues or other issues. I always keep my phones in heavier duty cases. For 6P I alternate between the Speck Candyshell case and a a "i-blason" heavy duty case I got from Amazon and both protect the phone well.

I've had mine since shortly after launch. It's showing its age of course.. along the top and bottom front frame and chamfered edges the finish is a wee worn but that's about it (its been in a thin case most of the time). Zero bends, no buckles, nada. And while I take decent care of my phones, I don't treat them like delicate flowers either. I wouldn't worry about it unless you have a drawer filled with the carcasses of busted phones of the past.... at which point its not the PHONE'S fault.

Release day 6P here. Hasn't bent but it did have a wobble since day one. If you lie it on a flat table and press on opposite corners it will wobble back and forth. So in that sense it came pre-bent.

I treat my Nexus 6P pretty badly. Mine is bent and missing a few pieces of the plastic between the screen and the body. It has little dents and scratches all over the aluminium body. But I must say it still works great. :) It did not bend easily.

My Nexus 6p started to bend/warp in less than 2 months of light use. They do indeed have a bending problem. The play storeproject/ Fi replaced it no questions asked.
