Does the LG G5 have an fm radio?

I have an international unlocked dual-sim G5 (H860N) and it indeed has the FM radio app.

So it is definitely a carrier or regional thing if yours doesn't.

I have the US version that is non carrier specific and has the cdma and gsm radios..Rs988 model. Mine does not have an FM radio either.
